Having implemented modern production processes, Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills seeks to play an active role in leading Indonesia’s development into a global hub for textiles manufacturing. In this regard, the company intends to expand beyond serving local customers to reach out to regional markets including other ASEAN nations as well as Japan and China. Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills is particularly interested in exploring new export opportunities for its line of specialty fabrics well suited to discerning clientele in developed markets.
In striving to achieve this goal, the company works with a host of global partners from countries including Japan, Germany, Switzerland and Italy to obtain state of the art technology and develop advanced manufacturing capabilities.
Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills’ place as a leading manufacturer of uniform fabrics is supported by the far-reaching market presence of its in-house brand, Nagatex, among local garment producers. The company supplies its high quality fabrics to garment manufacturers across Indonesia, who then go on to serve a full breadth of clients including schools, businesses and government agencies. Through the Nagatex brand, Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills has also provided its uniform fabrics directly to blue chip clients including Pertamina, Air Asia and the Indonesian Air Force.
As a means of furthering its already widespread network in Indonesia, Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills plans to develop a fully-integrated industrial estate in close proximity to Bandung in West Java.
As a modern textile manufacturing firm, Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills prioritises responsible and sustainable business practices at every stage of production. The company was among the first in its industry to install an in-house liquid waste management system, and continues to work with IPAL (Instalasi Pengolahan Limbah Industri) to ensure the seamless and safe handling of its byproducts. Through initiatives such as recycling its waste water to be reused during the manufacture of uniform fabrics, Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills complies with stringent eco-friendly standards of operation and has obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification (Environmental System Management) as evidence of this fact.
Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills also goes above and beyond to achieve energy efficiency within its manufacturing facilities in Bandung, West Java. In line with the Indonesian government’s goal of reducing the consumption of fuel oil, the company powers its factory through the use of two boiler machines; one producing 25 tons of steam per hour and the other tapping into a chain grade continuous feeding system with a capacity of 8 million kilocalories per hour. The implementation of this machinery stands as yet another example of Nagasakti Kurnia Textile Mills’ dedication to investing in new technology providing tangible benefits to efficiency and productivity.
